BethAnne Yeager

BethAnne Yeager has been involved in qui tam litigation since 2004, working on a wide range of false claims cases including those involving kickbacks, price manipulation, and billing fraud. She is a member of the qui tam litigation bar, Taxpayers Against  Fraud (TAF), and part of the Whistleblower Action Network as of counsel to Cohen Law Group. BethAnne was actively involved in the investigation and prosecution of the United States and Nevada ex rel. Steinke v. Merck cases, which resulted in a $400 million recovery. TAF recognized BethAnne as one of the Lawyers of the Year in 2008. She was also active on the State of Illinois v. University of Chicago Hospital case, which resulted in a $7 million recovery. Her other qui tam work involves cases still under seal.

Prior to qui tam litigation, BethAnne practiced in the areas of employment discrimination, civil rights, and consumer fraud since she graduated from Cornell Law School in 1989—half of that time in California, half in the Midwest.  Highlights include being named a finalist for the 1998 Trial Lawyer of the Year Award presented by Trial Lawyers for Public Justice for a consumer fraud action; second-chairing the first sexual harassment trial in Marin County; the trial and briefing of a landmark case involving the hiring and immunity of the University of Wisconsin; clerking for the Honorable Justice N. Patrick Crooks of the Wisconsin Supreme Court; and teaching “Women and the Law” at the University of Wisconsin.

BethAnne enjoys yoga, skiing, biking and traveling.
